Hi Everyone! Welcome to My Pageant Tips & Advice Page!! Below you'll find All of the Pageant Advice and Tips, that I have learned over the years while competing and participating in all of my pageants! So I hope they help You in Your Pageants!! Interview Tips & Advice..... |
Below you will read all of My Interview Tips & Advice, that I've Learned from Competing and Participating in All of My Pageant's!
1. Always Smile When In The Same Room As The Judges!!!!! That Is Very Important!!!!!
2. When going to sit down, make sure that you don't smooth out the back of your skirt before you sit down in the chair! It doesn't really look right when your smoothing your backside!! LOL!!!
3. When you sit down make sure to Cross your Ankles and NOT your Legs!!!!! You don't want to accidently kick the Judges!!!!  LOL!!!!!
4. Make sure to Always during the Whole Interview, sit toward the front of the seat! So that way you don't lean back into the chair! That way you remain sitting up straight at all times, which is Very Important to keep you posture!!
5. When you sit down make sure to place your hands nicely on your lap, one over the other, and make sure to keep them there!! That way you don't move your hands a lot, when you're talking to the Judges!!
6. Make sure to look Directly at the Judges, at All times, during the Interview!!!! Keep Eye Contact!!!! So that way the judges know they have your complete attention, and your confident enough to look at them in the eyes!!
7. When the judges ask you a question make sure to think for a few seconds what your answer will be, and how you want to say it! So that way your answer comes out right, and sounds good too!!
8. When answering any of the judges questions, make sure to answer all of them Honestly, and how you would Really answer them to anyone!!!!!
9. When telling the judges your answers, make sure to look at them Directly in the Eyes!!!!!

10. Remember to try and have a Practice Interview with someone, Before your Pageant! Also make sure to Practice Answering Interview Questions, before your pageant!! So that way your Very Prepared for Your Pageant Interview!!!

Evening Wear Tips & Advice..... |
Below you will read all of My Evening Wear Tips & Advice, that I've Learned from Competing and Participating in All of My Pageant's!
1. As soon as you are on the side of the stage, make sure Your Smile is on Your Face!!!!! Your Smile should be on your face at All Times whenever you are On The Side of The Stage, Getting Ready to Go Onto The Stage, or On The Stage!!!!! And Of Course you Should also Always Smile when your in the Presence of Any of The Judges or Whenever They can See You!!!! Now when your mouth gets tired of smiling, to relax it for a second do a closed mouth smile, but then go right back to the open mouth smile, where they can see your top teeth!! That's the Best Smile!!!!! When it's your turn to model your evening wear, make sure you give them that Big Smile, at All Times, so you're showing them just how Beautiful Your Smile Is!!!!!
2. Make sure to do Any adjusting of your dress Before you go onto the stage!! That goes for your hair too!! And also for some of you, Make-Up as well!!
3. Make sure you stand Nice and Tall, But Relaxed, whenever your on stage!!!! Keep that Good Posture up!
4. Make sure Not to slouch your shoulders!!!!! Practice Your Posture, Before the Pageant!!!!
5. Make sure to keep your arms at your sides and also to keep them Relaxed!!!!! Don't swing them! Just keep your arms on your sides Nice and Relaxed!! Plus make sure to keep Your Hands, and Fingers Relaxed too!! Don't Move Them or Touch your Dress!!!!
6. When your walking on stage, make sure Not to walk Too Fast Or Too Slow!!!! Just walk at a Slow Graceful Pace, but Make Sure Not Too Slow, you don't want to look like a Snail!!!! Just Walk and Smile as if You are Already a Queen!!!!
7. When your On Stage Waiting for Your Turn to Model Your Evening Wear, make sure to just Keep Your Eyes to the Audience and Look Straight Ahead! The Judges will be Looking at Whoever's Turn It Is to Model, but They Can Still See You!!Also Make Sure Not to Move Your Eyes Around Too Much, because that can give You A Nervous Look!! Which you Don't Want!!!

8. While Walking on The Stage when it's Your Turn to Model, Make Sure to Look at Each Judge In The Eye!!!! Not for Too Long Though!! Just Glance at Each Judge, as you walk by them!

Sportswear Modeling Tips & Advice..... |
Below you will read all of My Sportswear Modeling Tips & Advice, that I've learned from Competing and Participating over the years in The Sportswear Modeling Competition!
Clothing Tips:
1. Remember try to Not to wear anything Too Low Cut or Too Short!!!!! The Judges Prefer you to where something Age Appropiate!!!! Plus remember when wearing Shorter Skirts/Dresses, To Be Very Careful of The Length, because the Stage is Higher than the Judges and the Audience! You Don't want Anyone to See Anything, that you Don't want them to see!!!!! LOL!!!!
2. Remember try Not to wear anything Too Fancy! This is a Sportswear Modeling Competition, and yes you can Dress-up a little, but Try Not to be Too Dressy!!
3. Accessories should complement The LOOK of An Outfit!! So try to give your Outfit a Complete Look!!!!
4. When buying your Accessories, try to Match or Complement them with your Outfit! Accessories that Match or that Go with Your Outfit, Always Complete the Whole Look on Stage!!
Modeling Tips:
1. Always Smile when Your on the Side of The Stage, or when You are On The Stage!!!!!
2. Try Not to Adjust your Outfit, Hair, Etc., when you're On The Stage!!!!! Remember the Judges can Always see You when your On The Stage!!!!! So do Any adjusting Before you Go Onto the Stage!!!!
3. Move Around The Whole Stage!!!!! Don't Stay in One Place!!!! Move Around, and Do A Lot of Poses and Turns!!!!! Remember This is Your Time to Shine!!!!!
4. Try to Play Around with Any Accessories while Modeling! Like say I was Modeling and I was wearing Sunglasses, so when they read sunglasses off the Emcee Card, I would Tilt My Sunglasses!! Get what I'm saying?! Show off Your Accessories if you have any!!!!

Best Actress Tips & Advice..... |
Below you will read all of My Advice & Tips for the Best Actress Competition, that I've learned from Competing and Participating 10 times in The Best Actress Competition! I was also the 2005 Miss American Coed National Actress!!
My Advice:
I personally think that the Judges are looking for someone who is Very Enthusiastic! Also a person that Really Makes the commercial/script Come Alive, and says the Commercial as it would be said on TV for real!!!
My Tips:
1. Always Smile!!!!! Unless while saying your commerical there's a Line where it's a Sad Part, then You Make a Sad Face, but otherwise Always Smile!!!!!
2. Use a few Hand Gestures that Go Along with the Script/Commercial!! Like if you were saying in the commercial "This product makes my skin feel very soft", then you would like touch your cheek!!
3. Whatever Product your Commercial is About, Always Say the Name of the Product with More Enthusiasum, and Make it Sound a Little Louder than the Other Words/Lines!!
4. Try to Act/Say the Commercial as if you were Really going to be On TV!!!!
5. Be Natural when Saying the Commercial!!!! Try Not to Sound too fake unless the script calls for a lot of Drama!!!!
6. Make Sure that you Project Your Voice Loud Enough, so that the Judges can Hear You!!!!! But of Course Not Too Loud!!!!

1. Write From The Heart: That's the # 1 Tip I can give All of You! Just Write From Your Heart, and Write What YOU Feel Inside!! Then just Edit Your Letter, and Your Done! That is THE BEST Way to Write Your Thank You Letter!!
